What is being sold

Two separate things: a book, and professional services in the form of consultations and corporate training. The book is sold by retailers — Amazon.in (Kindle and paperback) and Flipkart — not by this site, and the terms of a retailer’s sale, including returns, are the retailer’s own.

Consultations and corporate training

A consultation is booked for a fixed period and confirmed only once payment is received. Rescheduling with reasonable notice is normally accommodated. A consultation is professional guidance on the situation you describe; it is not a retainer, and it does not create an ongoing lawyer–client relationship unless one is agreed separately in writing.

Intellectual property

The book, the writing on this site and the materials that accompany them belong to their author. You may quote briefly with attribution. You may not reproduce substantial portions, or use any of it to train a model, without written permission.

Acceptable use

The material here is defensive in intent. Using it to intimidate, threaten, harass, manipulate or evade lawful process is a misuse of it, is outside the purpose for which it is provided, and may itself be unlawful.

Not legal advice

Everything published on this site and in the book is educational. It explains how the system works in general terms. It is not advice on your matter, and reading it does not make anyone your lawyer. See the disclaimer.

Liability

The material is provided in good faith and with care, but without warranty that it fits your circumstances. To the extent permitted by law, liability for any loss arising from reliance on general educational content is excluded. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the author’s place of practice have jurisdiction.
