Street Smart Laws
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Street Smart Laws collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to this website and to the consultation and training services offered through it.
What we collect
- What you type into a form. Name, email address, phone number if you give one, and the content of your message. Nothing on this site requires more than that.
- Purchase information. The book is bought from Amazon.in or Flipkart, so we never see that order. Consultation fees are paid through a payment gateway; we receive confirmation of the transaction and your contact details, never your card number, UPI PIN or banking credentials.
- Basic analytics. Aggregate page views and referrers, and only after you have accepted analytics cookies. Declining costs you nothing on this site.
What we do with it
We use it to reply to you, to deliver what you have bought, and to send the weekly email if you asked for it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Consultation enquiries
An enquiry form is not a privileged communication and does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Please describe the category of your situation rather than its confidential details; the specifics belong in the consultation itself, where privilege applies.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while they are live and for a reasonable period afterwards. Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting obligations require.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in it. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — subject to any records we are legally required to retain. Write to us through the contact page.
Security
Data is held on access-controlled systems and transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the foot of the page.
